Fun Wedding Photo Frames

This is a beautiful feature in any wedding and can be created to match the décor and theme. It’s a perfect photo opportunity and a wonderful chance to create some fun and hilarious memories. Here is how to create the fun wedding photo frames.

The Wall
For the wall, you’ll simply need a few sheets of plywood and a small frame as well as a brace so the “wall” will stand on it’s own. Then, select large, ornate frames – you can find these at thrift stores and yard sells around dated art – and cut out holes in the wall at different heights that are slightly smaller than the frame

Decorating
Hang the frames around the holes and then either wall paper the wall or paint it. You’ll probably want to paint the frames as well. Make sure you create the wall to look like your theme. So, if you have a Victorian theme, you may want to do wainscoting on the wall, and use highly decorative wall paper as well as fancy golden frames.

Pictures
To utilize the wall, guests just step behind the wall and put their faces into the frames so pictures can be taken. There are lots of fun combinations; take pictures of the bridesmaids, the parents of the couple, the grandparents, the bride and groom themselves. It’s a wonderful opportunity to have fun and make memories.

Tips
When building and painting the wall, make sure it’s done completely outdoors. The wall should stay outdoors but can be covered with a portable canopy to reduce the sun and heat if you’re having a summer wedding.

Color Palettes for a Vintage Wedding

A vintage wedding can be truly breathtaking if all the little details come together correctly. One of the most important details is color. With the right use of color, you can create a nostalgic and whimsical feeling for your ceremony and reception. The following color options can serve as inspiration as you choose your vintage wedding color palette.
Pale Yellow and Gray
Not only is this a hot color combination right now, but pale yellow and gray is a perfect color combination for a vintage wedding. Florals work really well with this color palette as well, as do bold geometric patterns like chevrons and stripes. A great additional accent color for pale yellow and gray is lavender.

Rose and Gold
Rose and gold combined create a very feminine and vintage feel that’s perfect for Victorian style weddings as well as others. By utilizing muted rose and gold shades, brides can keep their color palette from being overwhelming while maintaining that rich vintage feel. Silk and satin fabrics are beautiful in these colors and utilizing different fabrics can create luxurious texture for the décor.

Peach and Tiffany Blue
This is a striking and very beautiful color combination that works very well for a vintage wedding. Geometric shapes are perfect for this combination and those can be softened with lots of draping fabric as well as large, soft flower arrangements. Maintaining a simple décor is best for this color palette – think clean lines and open spaces.

Bridal say's NO

4 Things You Should Never Do on Your Wedding Day

Every bride wants her wedding to be perfect, and while things happen that are out of your control, there are some things you can do to minimize disaster on your wedding day. Here are a few of those things.
1. Don’t Wear a Dress You Haven’t Tried On
Even if you tried on your wedding dress 10 times already, try it on again after the last round of alterations. This way, if something is wrong, you will still have time to get it fixed.

2. Never Get a Spray Tan
On the day of your wedding, you definitely don’t want to get a spray tan. It could mess up, it could dye your skin orange, or you could have an allergic reaction. If it’s the day of your wedding, you don’t have many options. Get your tan a week before the wedding.

3. Don’t Eat New Foods
What if you discover you have a food allergy you never knew about? You could end up with hives and huge red marks for your wedding pictures.

4. Don’t Try a New Hairstyle or Makeup
Finally, the last thing you want to do is try a new hairstyle or makeup, especially if the hairstyle involves a hair cut. When in doubt, go with your normal look so you don’t risk having something messed up at the last minute.
